Candidate for State Representative
District: Hillsborough 26

Bill Ohm is a strong believer in limited government and personal responsibility. As a successful business executive, he knows that the key to creating good jobs is cutting taxes. Cutting taxes requires cutting spending. Cutting spending requires setting priorities to determine the most urgent needs.
As a State Representative, Bill will fight for zero-based budgeting at all state agencies. That’s equivalent to a sunset law on expenditures. What was spent in the past is irrelevant. Agencies must set new objectives for the two-year budget and propose the most efficient way to achieve them. The job of the Legislature is to sort through all the proposals, establish priorities, and determine what level of spending our State can afford.
Bill is an active volunteer, serving in Emergency Management, Medical Reserve Corps, Citizens Emergency Response Team and Ham radio communications. He is also a Justice of the Peace and a life member of the NRA and Gun Owners of New Hampshire. Bill has a BS in Electrical Engineering from MIT and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
