Candidate for State Representative
District: Hillsborough 1
Website: www.DAVEF4REP.com
I have been married 14 years, and have four children, and four grandchildren. I am a 3rd generation Hillsboro resident that returned to my home in Hillsboro after graduating from college with a BS in Ocean and Electronic engineering.
While in College I joined REACT – radio emergency action team, was elected vice chairman of a Board of Deacons, joined BEAT – blood emergency action team, and was a Boy Scout leader and merit badge councilor.
I did some substitute teaching, retail sales and customer service, then worked at SYLVANIA for 33 years and was on their medical emergency team. While working at Sylvania I owned and ran a logging and cordwood operation until personal issues made it impossible. Recently I have worked for the Census and a school bus company.
I have been active in improving the town of Hillsboro by being on the Woods Woolen Mill cleanup, the Lions club, Chairman of Hillsboro pride – the downtown program, Hillsboro Park Board secretary, and the Economic development commission.
All my life I have been involved in helping others and different positions of leadership. I bring common sense and a wealth of knowledge from the different jobs and activities I have been involved in to the state house.
We don’t need a sales or income tax. We need to control spending. Help me by calling your friends and getting them out to vote to restore and protect our freedoms and return the constitution as the law of the land.
