District: Hillsborough 19 (Merrimack)

A strong conservative in every sense of the word, Jeanine Notter, of Merrimack, is running for State Representative. She graduated from the “Vesta Roy Excellence in Public Service” series in 2008, but waited until her youngest child was a little older before deciding to run for office.
In the meantime, she has hosted her own public access show, “Chattin’ with Jeanine,” for four years this October. With well over 100 episodes, “Chattin’ ” covers everything from politics, religion, heath and fitness, entertainment, and more.
The radio version of “Chattin’ with Jeanine,” aired on WSMN 1590, in Nashua, from July of 2009, until her sponsorship ran out in April of 2010.
She is currently hosting a limited series, taped in Londonderry, called, “Chattin’ Politically with Jeanine.” Guests include most of the major Republican candidates seeking higher office in New Hampshire. (Londonderry Public Access offers its shows to all of the public access stations in NH, and it’s on the internet; on the station’s website (On Demand option) or PEG access.)
Jeanine is the current President of the Nashua Area Federated Republican Women. Prior to that, she served as the Vice President.
She is a Director for the NH Gold Star Mothers Memorial Association. They are in their final push to raise $25,000 to finish the casting of a bronze statue to honor the mothers whose sons/daughters have made the ultimate sacrifice while serving in the military.
Jeanine is thankful that she is not a Gold Star Mother, but with two sons in the Air National Guard, she is a Blue Star Mom. She and her husband, Stephan, have six children, ages 24 to nine.
“I am running because I am very worried about our state and our country,” said Jeanine. “Taxes and spending are out of control and far too many people have lost, or are losing, their jobs. I was sickened when Parental Notification was revoked. From there, the moral fiber of our state has just continued in a downward spiral. We MUST take our state back. There is so much to do to fix what the liberals have broken, it may take quite some time to Right the wrong.”
