Candidate for State Representative
District: Hillsborough 18 (Bedford)

When Keith finished graduate school in Maryland six years ago he moved to New Hampshire, drawn by the low tax burden, job-friendly policies, and a high quality of life. He wanted to start a business and start a family, and the Granite State was a much better place than Maryland to accomplish both. His wife Kelleigh is expecting a first child this September, and he has started two successful businesses.
Unfortunately, the state legislature has begun to enact policies that seem designed to destroy the NH advantage. This session alone, the General Court has passed 38 new or increased taxes and fees, enacted a whole slew of new regulations on both businesses and individuals, created a $300 million deficit, and borrowed still more to pay for current operating costs.
He’s running for state representative because he truly believes that we need people in Concord who will fight to keep our state government out of our wallets, our homes, and our businesses. He’s learned from personal experience that people succeed best when they are left alone. He believes that the best solutions are found over our kitchen tables, not in Concord’s marble hallways. He believes that our state must live within its means, without taking more money from the people working every day to provide for their families. He believes without reservation in a limited government, in our state and federal Constitutions, and in the close correlation between personal freedom and personal responsibility.
