Rick Olson is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and a graduate of Southern New Hampshire University with a BA in Social Science, subsequently attending Massachusetts School of Law in Andover MA.
Rick and his wife Lisa live in Manchester and have three children and four grandchildren: A daughter who resides in Elizabethtown PA with her husband and children; and a son who is enlisted in the United States Army at Fort Benning, GA. The youngest daughter remains at home and attends Manchester public schools.
Rick Olson served for five years as the President of the Londonderry Fish & Game Club and presently sits on the board. He is the treasurer of the New Hampshire Wildlife federation and teaches Hunter Education with the New Hampshire Fish & Game Department. He is presently serving Manchester on the City Conservation Commission.
Rick believes there is no other aspect of government more paramount than basic fundamental liberties of New Hampshire citizens. As a constitutional conservative, Rick Olson is an ardent supporter of the Second Amendment, believes in smaller government, lower taxes, and getting this intrusive, nanny-state government out of the lives and off of the backs of New Hampshire citizens.
Rick earnestly believes New Hampshire has a serious spending problem and will never support an income or sales tax and opposes to the jobs killing LLC tax. Rick Olson is an outspoken critic of the Governor and Legislature’s recent balanced budget bill with its false accounting tricks and deceptive revenue forecasts.
