Candidate for State Representative
District: Rockingham 4 (Windham/Salem)
Walter Kolodziej of Windham is up for re-election for the Republican nomination for State Representative for Salem and Windham. During his first term he served on the Public Works and Highway Committee which deals with the capital budget and the maintenance of the state infrastructure. For eleven years Walter served on the Windham Planning Board helping to define the direction of the town towards its quaint distinction. For the past 34 years, Walt has been employed in the building material trades and his expertise in this area has been valuable on the Public Works and Highway Committee.
“I can be relied upon to support and stand up for conservative causes and help bring fiscal sanity to the budgeting process. However, this can only be achieved by the joint effort of the two branches of government and the Executive Office. The Republican mind set is needed in Concord to reign in the Democratic extravagance,” he stated.
Walt and his family have resided in Windham for the past 24 years. He is veteran of the United States Marine Corps, a member of the American Legion, and a college graduate with a BS in business.
